The jewelry-grade, bio-compatible Zirconia Ceramic from Tosoh, Japan, takes 20 days of hand-craftsmanship to create earKron. This grade of ZC is therefore limited to only the highest level of designer and luxury brands, and has the least amount of fossil-based materials (plastic) in the personal audio industry.
The technology molds highly complex ceramic mechanics at a tolerance of +/- 0.05 mm, sintered at 1,500 degrees, and highly finished to a pearl-like gloss that is virtually unscratchable and extremely hard to break.
We finish the design with the finest 18ct gold, rose gold, or platinum available, fused with titanium memory alloy that is malleable, yet maintains it's shape.
