CAS&Kera is a California company founded in 2023.
Our mission is to create a new category of luxury fashion accessories integrated with audio technology. We use precious materials and meticulous craftsmanship, to create rare and beautiful products.
With strong ties to our manufacturing partners in Sweden, and technology partners in Japan, we were able to create earKron - the world's first luxury audio ear-cuffs in 18ct gold and zirconia ceramic.
Craftsmanship
The process of producing zirconia ceramic is incredibly difficult, and takes a level of expertise that limits its use to luxury brands.
The technology molds highly complex ceramic mechanics at a tolerance of +/- 0.05 mm. Our zirconium, sintered at 1,500 degrees, is then highly finished to a pearl-like gloss, that is virtually unscratchable and very hard to break.
We complete the design using the finest 18ct gold and rose gold available, fused with titanium memory alloy that is malleable, yet maintains it's shape.
Open-Ear Design
earKron® ear-cuffs are designed to sit on the ear, rather than inside it, allowing you to talk and listen, while still being aware of your surroundings.
earKron® was created to be fine jewelry, so comfort was vital. The design means you can wear them for long periods.
They are also safe for your ears. The World Health Organization warned that 1.1 billion young people are at risk of hearing loss because of earbuds.
We enlisted world-renowned sound engineers from stables such as Harman Kardon, to craft a sound in the 'Goldilocks zone' - crystal clarity, balanced levels, and subtle tones.
